January's challenge pits the all new ThunderForce against :iconlordwormm:'s Fear Inducing Vile Villian Fetor, and his swarm of drones. This page features :iconkaufee:'s Miss July with some assistance from:iconproject-shadowblaze:'s Cross! The first time of what is sure to be many, Cross saves Miss July's life!!! The arrows bouncing of Fetor's hull are thanks to :iconmja42x:'s Arrow-Kill!!!

Kaufee Comics' Original Character, Miss July, the small town girl, denied the chance to fight in WWII, went from Pin-Up to Power-House and became one of America's Greatest Patriotic heroes!

-Inspired by WonderWoman, CaptainAmerica, and Powergirl!

So much artistic talent, wasted on such a crappy bad guy. Fetor? Seriously? Ick. Great page other than that!

Thanks for the compliment. Fetor may not be the coolest villian and maybe a little didtasteful, but here's my thoughts on including all styles/genres of characters, humorous, silly, anime, cartoon, and superhero alike. Even in dc and marvel, from time to time, they fight those type of characters, like MODOK, or Mr. Mxtptylk, or Arcade, or mad hatter, even Howard the duck, etc. The key is and what I tried to convey is, the indifference superhero characters would have, it is an enemy threat that needs to be nuetralized. I also take inspiration from a movie like Roger Rabbit, that did a great job of blending worlds and think that's the best way to see the Deviant Universe.
See what I mean?

Yeah - I guess my biggest problem with the DU is the sheer diversity of characters. Most of the time it's fun and challenging - but there are times when I find myself thinking: My time is precious - why am I drawing this again? You did a great job with it, but it's still a horrible 'character'.

I feel ya', I find that because it's just for fun and often with others characters, it's easier to make critical story/character decisions, and mostly I use it to excercise story telling techniques. I also majorly slack on backgrounds, which I wouldn't do with my own characters comics. You may be more familiar with layouts, pacing, storytelling, etc. than I am.

I wouldn't think so! Making it up as I go along! Sometimes things work, sometimes they don;t - but it's all good practise, isn't it.

I'm terrible with deadlines, but yeah I'd love to if we can think of a suitable project or story to bring our characters together - I'd love to see your take on Vigil :)

Dear Cross: Thank you for saving Miss July! I may have slit my wrists if Fetor took her out that easily. No but seriously awesome page

You've turned Fetor into the most beautiful character ever! Although I am a little biased.
